Being stubborn can be a good or bad thing. I like to think, for me, it's a good thing. It was very hard for me to learn much in school but as I got older something changed. In high school I took it upon myself to take extra classes in the summer and again during the year. I graduated with more than the required credits but shortly after graduation something changed again. I found the desire to read and experience different cultures. I don't think I've ever stopped. Over the last 10 years or so I've been fascinated with ancient history and cultures. Mostly how they built things. I just love learning almost anything now. I like to think my stubbornness has kept me from stopping.
Good for you! Yes, there is definitely a good stubbornness!!! I agree with you. I can't imagine stopping learning as well as reading - which is the same thing. I was shocked when I heard that: "33% of U.S. high school graduates never read a book after high school. 80% of U.S. families have not purchased a book this year. 50% of books started are never read to completion." No wonder people are making just dumb decisions about life.
I've spent the last third healing from what I didn't know I didn't know and learning to trust THAT I will know when I'm supposed to as long as I stay connected 🙄
I'm sure the digital age has something to do with it. I find it very sad that there are so many "young" people out there that don't even know where Canada or Mexico really is. And yet they are all about computers and electronics as a personal device no matter where they go or what they are doing. Walking around with your nose in a phone means they miss out on so much around them.

True, that connection means a lot when knowing things we didn't know we knew!
I've spent my entire lifetime not knowing what it is I don’t know, let alone how to do it. LOL
It's called living in the question, I think. LOL
