I would like to see these people discuss the issues facing our country and how they might fix or change them. I have yet to read much on anything from any candidate concerning any issues. I know I can look them up but the media should be reporting on those things and not all the finger pointing. No candidate should be dividing us. United we stand. Divided we fall. The rest of this is a very long story....
I agree and I love that both Kamala and Tim addressed issues during the roll-out of his being added to the campaign. They are dealing with the issues and now we do have to get the press to start reporting on that. Too long has all of this been about personalities and negativity. I am hopeful these two will help swing the pendulum and get politics back where it should be: the issues facing the country and the world and dealing with them effectively!
Watching Walz today in Wisconsin and he stopped his speech to make sure an over-heated man was taken care of before he began again. They said they call him the "Jolly Polly-tition." Nice.
Walz is the perfect VP candidate to deal with the "other side." That opener in PA last nite was brilliant with the real issues being the focus in the midst of joy & a positive path forward. The political system is corrupt & Citizen's United needs to be overturned. The Supreme Court is abusing their power & needs to be restructured. So lots of work ahead but off to a far better start than the other option.
It looks and feels like these folks mean business and are in this campaign for more than the power --- they really want to move the country forward. YAY!
It's so joyful to feel joyful. At last.
