The slingshot analogy seemed to apply to the "spiritual movement"(evolution?) of the social order and the world we live in going forward, in which ultimately, inevitably, we are - each of us - responsible for our own experience collectively. I have no disagreement with that. I would add that, in terms of an enlightened planet of humanity, the process of the slingshot's forward motion is so slow as to be virtually imperceptible and, consequently, almost meaningless.
I agree and it is very irritating that forward movement seems to be happening in slow motion. I think this is where the issue of trusting the process comes into play. Sigh.
My questions are:
Who's the rock?
Who's the rubber band?
Who's the slingshot?
And maybe more importantly, Who's pulling?
You.
