Here's something I ran across seemingly by accident: According to the Nation, Trump did NOT win a majority of the popular vote for President. His popular vote total has fallen below 50 percent, and his margin over Kamala Harris has narrowed considerably as all the votes are counted.
Trump’s popular-vote advantage has declined steadily since election night. As of Monday afternoon, Trump was at 49.94 percent, while Harris was at 48.26, according to the authoritative Cook Political Report’s tracking of results from official sources in states across the country. And we can expect that the Republican’s total will only continue to tick downward as heavily Democratic states on the West Coast finalize their vote tallies.
I have been watching this as well. I wonder if Kamala is second-guessing herself about conceding. Wouldn't it be something if she actually won? I wonder what would happen? I don't think she could do anything since she conceded.....such interesting times we live in!
That's a great post, as usual. I thought about it and I composed a poem to declare that I'm not going to give away my joy either. Here it is: "I pledge no allegiance to the flag of the MAGA states for which it stands. In a country divided there's neither liberty nor justice. I take a knee during the National Anthem, but I prefer not to hear it at all."

We need our joy wherever we can create it.
