I want to be able to maintain my house and garden and continue to enjoy gardening without feeling overwhelmed. I've known for a while that I need some help but was having trouble finding it in today's world. So I began by viewing help in terms of pairing down what goes in the garden with fewer labor intensive plantings, not bringing items in to my home that require more care, decluttering and imagining that spirit will provide me with more options if I keep moving forward with intention. Low and behold, a new family bought the house next door to me this month and they are brimming over with family and friends who do landscaping, housekeeping and one is even a roofer...my house is in need of a new roof! A bonus is I really enjoy them and it's helping with the loneliness upon emerging from the last two years of semi isolation.
