When I first looked at the title of your video, the thing that caught my attention was "Ask Me How I Should Live Your Life"! When I watched the video I thought it wasn't far off from your point.
Re: don't "Should Yourself" --- I realized this week sitting in the hospital getting cured of sepsis (yes, THAT sepsis!) that we live in a world filled with systems: economic, financial, banking, judicial, educational and medical etc. They all have their own language and we have to learn that language just to communicate in that system. The concept "SHOULD" is probably the genesis of these systems. We can control our use of language, but it's almost impossible to control when we're inside the system. So we shouldn't be too hard on ourselves.
I love getting rid of the work "should." It is just a way we beat ourselves up. I much prefer the concept of choosing to do or not do! And, yes, I agree we need to be less hard on ourselves!
