When do you give up?

You know your dream. You’ve set your goal. When do you give up?

Never.

It’s true you might have to rearrange your plans. It ‘s true that your original ideas might not work. But, give up? Nope.

If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing it for as long as it takes. Far too often, we give up on something before we give it enough time to work for us. But what about the business that just isn’t producing? Isn’t there a point where you admit you just need to move on? Yes, that might happen. But you don’t give up: you rearrange your plans. Here’s the difference.

In the first instance, you come from a place of weakness, a place of not being able to do whatever it was you set out to do. In the second instance, you are in touch with the essence of what you are trying to create and just change the way you are going about it.

If there is something in your life that isn’t working, step back and take a good look at the entire picture. Assess where you might be able to make some changes or come up with a new plan or strategy. But don’t ever give up. You are much too precious for that.

And as the master Paramhansa Yogananda said: “A Saint is a sinner who never gave up!”
