Did someone say reward?
Don’t your ears perk up when someone says the word reward? Or prize? Or surprise? I’m sure you work hard in your business or home and I know that you are rewarded at the heart and soul level for all you do. But wouldn’t it be nice to give yourself physical rewards when you reach a milestone or accomplish something. Here’s an idea.
Get a box or jar and some slips of paper. Now write down 25-30 things that would be fun and rewarding for you. They don’t have to cost money, but could. They don’t have to take a lot of time, but could. And they don’t have to be done with others, but they could.
Now fold the pieces of paper so you can’t read them and put them in the box or jar. Choose some things you want to do that are a stretch for you. Maybe some things you have been putting off. Or maybe just some larger goals you have. Write those down on a list.
When you accomplish these things, you get to pull a piece of paper out of the box and give yourself the gift. Maybe it is a new CD or book. Maybe it is taking a day-trip somewhere. Or maybe it is a visit to a spa. Or even something as simple as sitting outside for an hour or reading a novel or birdwatching or…..
This is a fun way to motivate yourself to do some of the things you keep putting off as well as a way to celebrate when you accomplish something! Another great way to use this idea is to pull one of the slips of paper when you have done nothing except be yourself. It’s okay to reward ourselves for being as well as doing.
Living in grace and ease,

Or finish the second book, Secrets, in my Egyptian series. I've been working hard since then to find the perfect pink purse as I've suddenly been loving pink. I love the concept of celebrating accomplishments--small or huge. :-)
Love, love, love this idea! Right on time, as usual.😍
