I just finished watching an interview of E. Jean Carroll where Rachel Maddow asked how E. Jean feels about Donald Trump after the jury gave an $83 million judgment. Here’s my paraphrase of what she and her attorneys said.
“He’s nothing,” she said. When not at a rally and surrounded by his followers, he’s nothing, she said. He’s empty. Just a man. A walrus snorting. Nothing. Here’s the clip where she says this and more.
As with other cult leaders, Trump can have only as much power as others give him. He has none of his own. Why is this important?
Because there is a message here for all of us. What are you giving power to that on its own has no power? Your bank account? Your bills? Your body size? Politicians? Your boss at work? Your unfaithful spouse? Your children? The government? What’s important to realize is the people and things in our lives have only the power we give them and no more.
This is what astounded E. Jean and her attorneys. Now if we can support more people in seeing this in their own lives, we’ll begin to see people taking back their power instead of giving it to people, places or things, including Donald Trump.
Living in grace and ease,
Krysta
Thank you Krysta for this post! Very straight forward! Trump is a small guy who has fooled his followers!
hopefully Trump will somehow be incapacitated rendering him unable to "serve." He's an empty suit & would melt down into nothingness like the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz should he lose his power over his cult followers.
