The other day I felt blue. I was disappointed that something I hoped would happen didn’t. I thought about my various stones, wondering which I would wear to help boost my energy. Then I remembered three strands of Hawaiian seashells I have and how they make me feel when I wear them. Here they are with another large shell I love.
When we read and talk about stones and crystals, only rarely are seashells mentioned. Most of us know about Mother of Pearl and abalone (abalone refers to the shell whereas Mother of Pearl refers to the organism inside the shell.) Whereas I love both of these and have a few, there’s something about these tiny seashells that makes me feel safe and enveloped in a loving, healing energy.
One of the reasons for this, I think, is the shells carry the energy of the ocean that is healing and nurturing and which reminds me of life’s cycles. The tide goes in and out. It isn’t always high or low tide and each has its function in the life of the sea. There’s also something about the sea salt that helps clear my aura and help me perk up!
After wearing the shells for a few hours, I felt uplifted and was able to easily let go of my earlier expectations, knowing something even better was on its way to me - and, indeed, it was!
Mother Nature is full of wondrous gifts for us. All we have to do is look for them and be open to inviting them into our lives. Try a little seashell therapy and see how it can bring you feelings of love, peace, and joy!
Crystal blessings,
Krysta
