Good news!
Here’s some good news I think you’ll like: you can choose how your day unfolds. Really? Yes, really! Here’s how.
When you first awake, before your feet touch the floor, start saying thank you. Thank you for the night’s sleep I just had. Thank you for my bed. Thank you for the floor I’m getting ready to step on. Thank you for the shower I’ll have, the hot beverage I’ll enjoy…..you get the idea.
Then say to yourself out loud, “Today is a great day. No matter what happens or what doesn’t happen, I’m having a great day! I’ve resigned my position as general manager of the universe. There are plenty of others willing to take over for me.”
It’s true that you might not like everything that happens this day, but you get to choose how you will respond. You’re having a great day no matter what! Declare that!
When you’re ready, look at your to-do list and decide how much is valid and what can be removed. Now create a second list: A not to do list. Anything you don’t have to do goes here. This is also the place to put the things you want to stop doing. For instance: I won’t check email every ten minutes. I won’t visit Facebook multiple times today. I won’t worry about the outcome of the upcoming elections. I won’t eat sugar, or drink alcohol, or do drugs or whatever your form of self-medication might be.
Now put all of that away and get out there and live the day you want to live. Be happy. Smile. Be kind. Be curious. Be generous. Live in the higher dimensions you touch when you meditate, do yoga, sing or create. Actively choose how the day goes. Maybe you can’t control everything that happens, but you can control how you respond to what happens. By setting your intentions early in the day, you set the course that unfolds. How wonderful is that?
Here’s a sunrise I captured last week when visiting Prescott, Arizona for a convention. What a way to say “Good Morning!”
By the way, did you know I created a course about how to use crystals in your journey? It is on demand and available here.
I’ve also created a course for people who want to teach. Find it here.
Have a great week!
Living in joy grace, and ease,
Krysta

Like minds operate...likely. I woke last night counting out the great things that I have and have recently done or gotten. Includes all the people I talk to as part of banking and health. A joyful extra for keeping those things in good shape (generally considered a chore).
I love the not list!!! I also started calling my to do list my peaceful list. Thank you for this.
