I was rethinking your post on Joy and it occurred to me that creating joy and experiencing joy might be helped along by creating a ritual. Specific. Personal. Private. A ritual dedicates a thought and action to a higher purpose. If joy is your goal, creating an inviting ritual to attract joy in your life might be a good idea.
Joy is a lot like the wind: you can't see it, but you can feel it, get swept and see it's effects. Joy and the wind are neither trying hard, nor do they particularly care if We're "self-realized". You can't capture and own the wind; joy is more obscure than that. I think "joy" is intangible, but it's the substance of intangibility that makes moments so joyful....because "joyful" was there already; we just needed to acknowledge it.
